Top remote talent

Tulsa Remote launched in 2018 to recruit a diverse group of remote workers across industries to relocate and contribute to existing growth in Tulsa.

The program brings remote workers to the community by providing $10,000 grants and numerous community-building opportunities. Participants in Tulsa Remote possess skills and ambitions that positively impact the city’s economy and sense of community. Programming helps participants create belonging and encourages members to become active civic participants in the city.

Making a measurable impact

Tulsa Remote has welcomed over 3,500 talented remote workers to our community already. With the help of the program’s financial incentives and community support systems, these individuals and their families have found a new home and life in Tulsa.

As of 2023, the program welcomed a significant increase in members of people from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, who now represented 53% of the newcomers, reflecting Tulsa Remote’s success in attracting individuals from a wide array of cultures and backgrounds.

Tulsa Remote has not only attracted a wealth of talent to our city, but has also fostered a deep sense of community and belonging among its members. With a retention rate of 74% among those who have completed their program year since 2019, this staying power speaks volumes, emphasizing not just the initial appeal of Tulsa but its enduring allure.
